SUSTAINABILITY

We clean up after ourselves.

Ecommerce deliveries have a carbon footprint. That's why we support cutting-edge companies that remove carbon from the air.

Together, participating businesses have…

  • Removed more than thousands of tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere
  • Provided carbon-neutral shipping for more than millions of orders

Here's how it works: For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. Those companies use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

Being sustainable is hard. Really hard.

But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try.

We analyze every step of our production process to be sustainable where we can. From day one we knew we wanted to a manufacturing process that wouldn’t create waste. For our US production we are proud to say we have achieved that goal and have zero waste when bringing our lingerie to life. The remnants are sorted to either be donated or made into shoddy.

Our fabrics are meticulously chosen, it’s the core of what makes TITOV’s lingerie comfortable and fun. Having such high standards of quality we are not able to always use recycled materials, however we are constantly on the lookout! For example our Paige, Veda, and Kelsey styles are made out of dead stock fabrics that would have otherwise been thrown out.

We want to avoid ever over producing, which is why we make many styles “made to order”. This is how we have been able to offer the size range we carry and continue to add more. The aim is to never have too much stock, which is why you will never see a sale here at TITOV (unless it’s a special sample sale).

Shipping is one of those invisible pollutants that we chose to address. We choose to use the USPS as they consolidate as many parcels as possible, which means less trucks taking unnecessary trips.

Have you seen our pouches that all of our lingerie some with? Those are made by hand with dead stock fabrics, every time you purchase something, you will most likely receive a different one because we are using what fabric is available.

We know these sustainability efforts are not perfect, but it’s a good start.
