GET CLEAN
Follow Our Steps For Washing Your Favorite Underthings
FIRST
SEPARATE
Make sure to keep your lights and dark separate when washing. If you have items with extra details, like lace trims or rhinestones, give them extra care and wash one by one.
SECOND
STAIN REMOVAL
If your under garments have received a lot of love, they’ll need a bit more attention when washing. Pour some solution, like Laundress’ Stain Solution, on areas that get more skin contact. Make sure you rub there well! * No affiliation with Laundress, we really just love their product which you can find here.
THIRD
SOAK
Once your stains are pre treated, load up your wash basin with water and Detergent. Our favorite is Laundress’ All Purpose Bleach Alternative, because it is super delicate and doesn’t irritate any of the elements on the items. Let you laundry soak for about 30 Min in warm water.
FORTH
WASH
We know hand washing isn’t the most exciting, but throw on a playlist and have some fun in the water. This will keep your delicates lasting longer!
FIFTH
SOAK
Let everything soak one more time to make sure all of the dirt (and odor) comes off. Give it about 20 minutes, and we recommend throwing on a face mask while you wait.
SIXTH
RINSE
Make sure to rinse your Lingerie off in cold water. Don’t wring the items as you could stretch out the fabrics and trims. Once your water is running clear your all done!
SEVENTH
DRY
***NEVER TUMBLE DRY*** The dryer is the worst thing you could do to your favorite undergarments. The heat wears out the fabrics and elastics quicker, and they may loose their shape. So make sure to lay flat to dry, and avoid hanging your bras by the straps.
